NOTICE OF APPRENTICESHIP OPPORTUNITY

JOINT APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING COMMITTEE

WHERE TO APPLY:  West Virginia Job Service offices in the following counties, Cabell, Mason, Logan, Mingo, or McDowell.

WHEN TO APPLY:     August 1st,- 18th 2006, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. daily.

It should be noted that this announcement does not in any way mean employment.
It is only to obtain and active selection list for future requirements.  This list will be valid for one year.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Must be 18 years of age
  2. High school graduate or GED equivalent.
  3. Must have valid drivers license
  4. All applicants must complete application and state T.A.B.E. test, to be administered by the W.V. Job Services.
  5. Applicants must reside in one of the following counties in West Virginia:  Mason, Cabell, Wayne, Lincoln, Mingo, Logan, McDowell, and Wyoming.

Upon completion of application and T.A.B.E. testing, applicants may be required to bring the following items, at a later date, to 2584-86 Guyan Ave. Huntington, WV. 
Applicants will be notified of this date.

  1. Copy of High School diploma, or certificate of GED.
  2. Transcript of High School grades.
  3. Birth certificate or proof of citizenship.
  4. Copy of DD-214, if a veteran.
